European Commision – Posted Workers Directive
Posted Workers Defined
A “posted worker” is an employee assigned by his employer to carry out a service in another EU Member State on a temporary basis, in the context of a contract of services, an intra-group posting or a hiring out through a temporary agency, adding value for the company. Each EU country defines the value meteric differently-the value can be defined from hours to days based on the countries characterization of time frame.
